How the modules connect
One patient record, many connected steps
The Healix digital health platform is built so that each module adds to the same patient journey. A booking made in the patient app appears in the doctor workspace. The consultation produces notes, prescriptions and lab orders. Lab results and pharmacy updates return to the record the doctor and patient already use. The admin panel sees the whole flow, so capacity and availability can be planned from real activity rather than spreadsheets.
You do not need to adopt everything at once. Many hospitals start with the patient app and doctor workspace in one department, then add teleconsultation, payments, and lab and pharmacy integration as they scale. The full sequence is described on the How Healix works page.
Where NORA fits in the platform
NORA, the Healix healthcare AI assistant, runs across the modules. On the patient side it guides intake and booking and explains records. On the doctor side it drafts pre-consultation summaries and documentation for review. On the operations side it supports scheduling. In every case NORA drafts and a professional decides.
Interoperability with HL7 and FHIR
Healix is designed to sit alongside the systems a hospital already runs, not replace them. Integrations use healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR where the existing system supports them, and the exact scope is agreed during discovery. Typical connections include:
- On-premise hospital information systems (HIS) and electronic medical records
- Laboratory information systems for orders and results
- Pharmacy systems for prescriptions and fulfilment status
- Payment gateways for in-app payments and invoicing
Built for English and Urdu
Patients and care teams can use Healix and NORA in English or Urdu, which helps patients describe their needs in the language they are most comfortable with.
Frequently asked questions
Does Healix replace our hospital information system?
No. Healix is designed to work alongside existing hospital, lab and pharmacy systems, using healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR where available. Integration scope is agreed during discovery.
How does a hospital get started with Healix?
Deployment follows four stages: discovery of your existing systems, integration, a pilot in one department, and a phased roll-out. Request early access to start the discovery conversation.
How do labs and pharmacies connect to Healix?
Labs can receive structured orders from consultations and return results to the patient record. Pharmacies can receive prescriptions issued by doctors in Healix and share fulfilment status. Connection options are confirmed during onboarding.
Which languages does Healix support?
Healix and NORA currently support English and Urdu for patients and care teams.
