For Pharmacies

Pharmacy integration and digital prescriptions

Healix connects pharmacies to the doctors and patients using the Healix AI-powered digital hospital. Prescriptions arrive digitally from the consultation, and pharmacies can keep patients updated on fulfilment in the same app they use for appointments and reports.

What changes for your pharmacy

Clear digital prescriptions

Receive prescriptions issued by the doctor in Healix, with medicine, dose and instructions in a consistent, readable format.

Fulfilment status

Share when a prescription is received, prepared and ready, so patients know what to expect without phoning.

Fewer clarification calls

Structured prescriptions linked to the consultation reduce the handwriting and missing-detail questions that slow dispensing.

Pharmacist judgement stays central

Pharmacists check and dispense as they do today. Healix supports the flow of information, not the professional decision.

How pharmacy integration works

From prescription to pickup, connected to the consultation

In Healix, a prescription is created by the doctor during the consultation and stays linked to that visit. Because the pharmacy receives the same structured information the doctor entered, there is less room for misread handwriting or missing details.

  • Prescribe: the doctor issues the prescription in Healix. NORA may support documentation, but the doctor decides what to prescribe.
  • Receive: a connected pharmacy receives the prescription digitally.
  • Dispense: the pharmacist checks and dispenses using their normal professional process and systems.
  • Update: the pharmacy shares fulfilment status, and the patient sees it alongside the prescription in their Healix app.

Helping patients understand their medicines

Patients can ask NORA to explain prescription instructions in plain English or Urdu, such as when and how to take a medicine as written by the doctor. NORA does not change, recommend or stop medicines, and questions about side effects or suitability are directed to the doctor or pharmacist.

Works with your pharmacy system

Healix is designed to connect with existing pharmacy systems, using healthcare data standards where available. Hospital pharmacies and independent pharmacies can both take part, and the connection method is agreed during onboarding.

Early access for pharmacies

We are onboarding a limited number of pharmacies alongside partner hospitals and clinics during early access. Request early access to discuss how your pharmacy could receive prescriptions from Healix doctors.

Frequently asked questions

How do labs and pharmacies connect to Healix?

Labs can receive structured orders from consultations and return results to the patient record. Pharmacies can receive prescriptions issued by doctors in Healix and share fulfilment status. Connection options are confirmed during onboarding.

Does NORA diagnose patients or replace doctors?

No. NORA does not diagnose, prescribe or make treatment decisions. It prepares and organises information, and a qualified healthcare professional reviews and decides. NORA is an informational and productivity tool, not a substitute for professional medical advice.

Does Healix replace our hospital information system?

No. Healix is designed to work alongside existing hospital, lab and pharmacy systems, using healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR where available. Integration scope is agreed during discovery.
